William de Lillo was a major vintage fashion jewellery designer from Belgium who immigrated to the Unites States. His jewellery was often one of a kind, couture, runway pieces, or limited edition. He worked with many exclusive clients producing such pieces. Those patrons include Elizabeth Taylor. During the 1950s he worked for Cartier, Harry Winston, and Tiffany. In 1967 he started the House of de Lillo with Robert F. Clark. Clark had formally designed for Miriam Haskell. While living in France the 1970s they continued to produce jewellery for fashion houses like Yves Saint Laurent and Schiaparelli.
