This stunning bypass ring features two cultured pearls and eight diamonds. The ring is made in the 1950”s and has a classic and elegant style. Bypass rings such as this one were popularised in the Victorian era and quickly became the ideal ring for an engagement. These rings are made up of bands that overlap and part, rather than being a simple continuous line. The distinct and modern style of this ring alongside the lovely pairing of pearls and diamonds make this piece a treasure.

The pearls at the centre measure approximately 8.5 mm; the eight diamonds around the pearls ranges from 2mm to 4.5mm in size. The cultured pearls have a beautiful nacre to them and are well matched, with a superb glow. They are a nice white to creamy colour with a multi colour reflection. The diamonds are round brilliant and range from VS1-VS11 in clarity; they are a G/H in colour. The diamonds have a total carat weight of 0.75. The yellow gold band is 14k, marked on the interior of the band. The ring is a size 4.5 and can be easily re-sized by a professional jeweller. Weighs 5.7 grammes.
