“Touching the invisible” is a collection that Dorry Hsu first created for her Master Degree in the Royal College of Art, London. It is a collection of wearable objects which aims to recall emotions through touchiness. The formality of the object is challenged through the diversity of complexity of form. Through the immediate response of virtual modelling tools, she creates three-dimensional objects that reflects her memories of emotions. The objects carry the “haptic” character such as spikes and smooth balls and people can sense this haptic feeling through seeing the object. This project challenges the possibility of different printing material, scales and the combination of traditional craftment technique. This work has been exhibited published internationally.
