Certified Burmese Ruby ‘0.71 cts’ and Diamond ’40=0.30CTS’ 18K White Gold Ring

Certified by the AGL laboratories, the recognised authority of coloured stones, this lively and bright red Burmese Ruby sits in an 18K white gold mounting. The shoulders of the ring mounting each contain 20 diamonds that weigh approximately .015cts. The diamonds are graded as G/H in colour and VS in clarity. Burmese Rubies are known to be the finest of the class and command a high premium. The certificate lists the enhancement as slight heat, commonly accepted in the trade. Different from Diamonds, coloured stones generate their colour from the bottom of the stone, with the colour bands radiating up.
