Description

Rare and unusual ring made for Chanel Haute Couture runway presentation for Spring Summer 2000. A massive emerald cut fluorite is mounted into a large sterling silver shank very reminiscent of the work of jeweller Tina Chow.

Made for Karl Lagerfeld by Ibu Poilane, the jeweller and owner of Ibu Gallery in the Palais Royale. The languid silk satin Chanel slip dresses were anchored by her striking minimalist jewels for the presentation. These particular jewels set in sterling silver and semiprecious stones were never retailed and were only available special order to Haute Couture clients.
