Maisel”s Indian Trading Post Sterling and Turquoise Cuff Bracelet and Ring Set

Description

These c. 1940s or 1950s sterling cuff bracelet and ring are set with turquoise. The stones have scalloped bezel settings that are flanked by tapering bands that create a feeling of movement like shooting stars or a spinning effect. The ring and bracelet came together, but only the ring has the hallmark of Maisel”s Indian Trading Post in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Maisel”s, located on Route 66, employed hundreds of Native American artisans in the late 1940s and 1950s.

The ring is stamped:
“sterling” with the Kachina mark of Maisel”s Indian Trading Post

exterior- 2.75″ wide x 2.25″ high x 1.75″ deep
(The deep measurement is the widest part of the design on top of the wrist.)
