ABOUT THIS ITEM: #R-DJ1021i. Scroll down for specifications. The platinum mounting centres upon an oval blue sapphire framed by round brilliant-cut diamonds. The diamonds exceed a quarter of a carat in weight. Additionally, they have been beautifully matched and graded within the white diamond colour range. It is a classic design reminiscent of Princess Diana’s sapphire and diamond engagement ring.
SPECIFICATIONS:
PRIMARY GEMSTONE: one faceted, oval, blue sapphire weighing approximately 0.66 carat.
DIAMONDS: ten round brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.27 carat, approximately G-H colour, I clarity.
METAL: platinum.
WEIGHT: 4.2 grammes.
RING SIZE: approximately 5 1/2, can be sized.
MEASUREMENTS: approximately 10 mm wide vertical to the fingernail.
CONDITION: high magnification photographs show considerable design details, and the item is in good condition, all consistent with age and wear.
