Rare 1970”s item by William de Lillo. This is a beautiful done Cameo Ring with a heavy linked gold-tone chain edge. The cameo colour is a vibrant orange coral. The ring is 2.5″ long and about 1.5″ wide. Cameo is 2″ long. Signed delillo One size fits all.
William de Lillo was a major vintage fashion jewellery designer from Belgium who immigrated to the Unites States. His jewellery was often one of a kind, couture, runway pieces, or limited edition. He worked with many exclusive clients producing such pieces. Those patrons include Elizabeth Taylor. During the 1950s he worked for Cartier, Harry Winston, and Tiffany. In 1967 he started the House of de Lillo with Robert F. Clark. Clark had formally designed for Miriam Haskell. While living in France the 1970s they continued to produce jewellery for fashion houses like Yves Saint Laurent and Schiaparelli.
