Description
This late 1940s or early 1950s sterling ring was designed by modernist jeweller Margaret De Patta. The asymmetrical shadowbox design has a great 3-dimensionality, and the effect changes with the angle and intensity of the light. There is a playfulness to the offset pearl surrounded by a scattering of silver dots/posts.
approximate measurements:
top of the ring – .75″ wide x .25″ deep x .88″ high
ring size – 4.5
